I hear many of the French of Algerian decent and fanning to different mosques, smart.
Ofcourse Egyptian state would more far more viciously opress Egyptians. Those that tried to join us were ejected. But the Egyptian gov is doing the bidding of the US and Israel. And in that sense, Egypt is occupied as well.
From Dad-
This morning AlJaz Arabic had a report showing marchers protesting the siege at both the Erits and the Rafah crossings in Gaza. In the coverage they stated that thousand of Palestinians and approx 80 foreign activists were holding the March together. It did not include protesters commentary, but they did say that another 1500 are still in Cairo trying to join in.(3-4 min)
Coverage of protests and Palestinian flags on the pyramid. The official Egyptian paper has a grim picture of Mubarak.
There's just my name atop this blog, but it couldn't have happened
without Matthew Bradley who kept the page going and Kayvan Farchadi,
he got the knocking around by the Egyptian plain-clothes thugs, and
while many were singing, he was uploading.

I talked to another activist who had mentioned Al-Jazeera coverage of the protests in Cairo, and apparently it was on the web page. So internationals from 40 countries are dragged through the streets of Cairo, and virtually nil coverage. From Dad:
I met Jihan (can't remember her last name) who has worked with Press TV, but I think is here on her own dime.
Few minutes ago, Press tv covered the activists march in Gaza interviewing several foreign activists who highlighted the unfair govt procedures of allowing just a few of the 1400 hundred activists who assembled in Cairo from all over. One said I am proud to be marching with Gazans. adding "I feel very safe in Gaza I don't feel that safe in Cairo, but in Gaza I feel safe" I got it on the video.
