From my dad on Egypt protests at Israeli embassy earlier today #sept9

I should have posted this earlier today, I got it from my dad in Amman at 1 pm ET:

On going:
Demonstration in Tahrir sq.with the participation of almost all political parties/groups , except for the Moslem Brotherhood, demanding the following:
(1) Correction of the revolution's path (2) Calling for the military council to hand over the reigns to a civilian government (3) Speedy Justice and punishment for the old regime's figure heads (4) Demanding a road map to achieve these goals.

Currently demonstration centers are around the ministry of interior and around thye Israeli Embassy. The mob is momentarily attacking the Embassy. Manny carrying hammers and shovels are breaking down the wall surrounding the embassy. Picture are seen only on Almasriyya SAT. Have not yet seen any reporting on CNN or BBC or Aljazeera.

At 2 pm ET, I got:

Nile News on Nile sat reporting. They knocked down part of the embassy wall and trying to get thru. Engaging the police, army and guards. Aljazeera Mubashir [direct, like a C-Span], regular and Int'l [AJE] is still busy reporting Syrian demonstrations which has been their sole duty.
Also demonstrations surrounding the TV station. I also saw them taking down the ministry opf interior emblem on the entrance, a very big sign -- like ten meters by ten.

A half hour later:

Daddy still NOTHING on Aljazeera. ... Also nothing on CNN Int'l. or BBC eng and Arabic. Nothing on AlArabiyya.
They are climbing the Israeli embassy building trying to get in there.
Learnt that the other objectives are: Social Justice. Nullifying all prior military courts rulings. Release of prisoners sentenced by such courts.

It's now almost 10 pm ET and AJE and Al-Jazeera are covering it. It's quite possible that they didn't cover it until most everyone in the Mideast was in bed. Also, from this data from dad, obvious question: If Nile and other Egyptian media didn't carry this story, when would Al-Jazeera and company have gotten around to paying attention, like they are (in frankly suspicious fashion) now. Perhaps when they would have reported on the Gaza Freedom March in Cairo.
