Lots of video is being shot of protest in front of the French embassy and the UN office in Cairo, but virtually none is getting out. I had a connection, recently posted video of protests near where the Buses were supposed to pick marchers up to go to Gaza, but I can no longer get videos out, will try to get some stills.
The protest in front of the French embassy are the most vibrant, several hundred there, protesting, camped out. There was a large protest in front of the UN office. Activists and organizations from the US, myself included, have alot to learn. There have so far been minimal protest in front of the US embassy, that might change today, Wed. Part of the problem is that the US embassy in Cairo, like many places, is apparently a fortress.
